Eph 6:13 ends with the phrase, “and having done all, to stand.”
There are battles ahead of us. This is not rumour, this is fact.
When we get attacked, we need to know it is never really a “surprise” attack, because God knows everything that’s coming.
When we make the decision to accept God’s invitation to enter a relationship, we gain a strategist, a warrior, a supplier of all that we need, and a comforter if we get wounded in the fray.
On this Father’s Day, it has to be said that God (being the world’s best Father) has thought of us way more way than we could ever possibly think of Him.
He’s given all to reach us and to provide fo rus in everything we do!
That said, don’t think it is just a walk in the park; it may be a walk “through the valley of the shadow of death,” but He is with me.
That’s how we know if people are with us—-if they are there when all else have fled.
